GUI Freeze/Hang, Fails to Start : Monero

I’d quite like to get into Monero, but I absolutely cannot get the GUI to load, no matter what “fixes” I attempt to apply.

Have tried

1. Low graphics .bat startup
2. Ensuring directories don’t contain spaces
3. Various compatibility modes.
4. Disabling antivirus and firewall
5. Restarting computer several times.
6. The supposed fix that involves adding a new paramter to the “Running Environment” in the PC settings.

This is windows 10, 64-bit.

I just want to use Monero, but cannot get the GUI to start. What the hell can I do?
